The vastly growing island of Club Penguin has been a main attraction for some time. The island, which was created about six years ago, started out as a small, optional game on Miniclip.com. Thousands of kids and teenagers around the world hopped onto their computers and started experiencing the new world.
Club Penguin, otherwise known as "The World of Diverse Penguins" became an over night sensation. As soon as the buzz about Club Penguin grew, more and more corporations came up front to discuss buying the site and making it a friendly, fun, kid environment. The corporation to eventually take over the increasingly populated site was Disney, the popular website, channel, and friendly kid environment home of famous childhood characters.
When "CP" was taken over by Disney, the site was extremely transformed into a place that no one could resist! Taking on new heights, the company found new ways to keep their site number one. This included various parties, celebrations, games, and adventures. CP became a place everyone knew of.
It became interactive, taking first place into teaching kids how to use their money wisely and shop cautiously before Webkinz entered the "kid craving" scene.
This included coins, Gift Shops for clothes, sports attire, furniture, and igloo choosing. Their were various styles, fashions, and decorations for every user.
When the site was becoming a household name, Disney decided to make the site international. Disney welcomed new languages besides English, including French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The site even included holidays, such as Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and a special favorite, Halloween.
All the news adventures and creative ideas being put into Club Penguin make it a place where no one can ever get bored. There are so many things to do it makes meeting new people and exploring new territories extremely fun. The site is truly setting an example for people of all ages.

MUSIC JAM 2011 REMINDER
June 17th - July 4th

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ON "POOKIE'S, MUMU'S & DUHDUH'S?"
It has been no secret to penguins around the island. More and more "pookies" (penguins pretending to be babies) are being seen around the popular servers.
The goal of a "pookie" is to go to the Pet Shop and act like a baby. After being spotted by a "Mumu or DuhDuh" they are then told they have been "picked." After adding their new mom or dad, they head to their igloo.
The lifespan of a "pookie/mumu" relationship lasts less than a day. Pookie's delete their Mumu's and move on to bigger..better mumu's. Below, is some important information you should know.
1. Pookies are always seen at the Pet Shop and in the Plaza.
2. They are ALWAYS yellow, wear scarfs, earmuffs, holds teddy bear/bunny, have slippers, etc.
3. They talk like a baby...saying "Hwi" instead of "Hi"
3 cont. They say "Woo" instead of "you"
4. Pookie's CAN OR CANNOT be clingy....(they move on fast...and are never permanent children.)
EXTRA WEEK OF MUSIC JAM!

Billybob announced today that the Music Jam 2011 will be going on for an extra week. The reason? No one knows for sure, but Billybob said i t was because more penguins wanted extra time to enjoy the parties and events.
Other penguins said they were going to spend the extra week scouting out Cadence and the Penguin Band. What will you do with the extra week? Send in your comments/questions about the extension to the Music Jam 2011 to |erem182@yahoo.com|
